Barn with 8' sliders instead of hinged door

I purchased these plans to build the shed so that we could reclaim the garage for parking and i could have a dedicated space for my tinkering and woodworking. I a had looked into purchasing a pre-fabricated shed, but the price point was higher than what I considered acceptable for an outbuilding. So, I found your site (shedking.net) after some research and review reviewing. I snagged the plans for a song and started building my materials list.

I have never built anything at this level before and, I have to say, your plans and instructions were spot on. I did have to make some modifications to the purchase list since I was building on a concrete base, but that was simple because of how you organized the supply list by project component!

It was the little notes and suggestions in the assembly guide that helped the most when I had a few questions.

All in all, I built this massive shed for less than $6K when a prefab 12x16 STARTS at $8-9K in my area. So, thank you so much for putting together the great plans and support documentation!
