how to build a shed

Foundation slab vs pier and beam for a shed

I am building a 120sq ft shed/office on flat ground, what advantage or disadvantage is there in using a slab foundation vs pier and beam?

John's Answer,

Hello ,

To answer your question, a concrete slab will be the most permanent and durable method of constructing a foundation for your shed.

However, slab construction requires greater preparation and expense than using wood floor construction utilizing skids and concrete piers.
